Newborn Fit Mama is a successful health and fitness program for mothers, started by Kimberly Mutzers, who has been inspiring her followers for years on Instagram with the Newborn Fit Mama lifestyle and member programs.
Over the years, the IT landscape of NBFM has expanded with various (external) tools and platforms. Additionally, the user base has grown significantly since the start. This made managing the platform and providing services quite complex and time-consuming.
It became time to consolidate all activities into one, dedicated Newborn Fit Mama app. Along with gaining full control over the development of exciting new features, a number of external tools could be eliminated. Administrative tasks and customer service have since been scaled down, and the number of members continues to grow steadily.
Concept
Newborn Fit Mama is the number one fitness app for mothers. With your membership, you gain access to the app and various programs designed to help you get and stay in shape as a mother. With a combination of short, challenging workouts that you can do at home (e.g., while the kids are at school or napping), you can work toward a fit and healthy body in between daily activities. In addition to various workout programs, the Newborn Fit Mama app also features a progress tracker, healthy recipes, meal plans, and a vibrant community of mothers who support and encourage each other.
Objective
The goal is to make it even easier to participate in Newborn Fit Mama. This was achieved by combining attractive workout programs, recipes, and a lively community into one dedicated NBFM app. At the same time, administrative burdens were reduced, and pressure on customer service was alleviated.
The result is a native app for iOS and Android was developed for smartphones and tablets. The workouts in the app can be seamlessly streamed to your TV via Chromecast. Since the launch in May, the number of members has increased significantly. Additionally, the pressure on the service desk has greatly decreased.
